Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
Description:
The Sunday school children pack shoeboxes to be sent to Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. This usually happens the second or third Sunday in November during church/Sunday school. These boxes are packed with small gifts of toys, personal hygiene items, school supplies and candy. They are then sent all over the world.
How to get involved:
The congregation is welcome to bring in gifts. There is also a need for money (usually $7 dollars per box) to be sent with the boxes to defray the cost of processing and delivering. We also need empty shoeboxes with lids that come off.
